This next step in my career has really allowed me to expand my thinking. Coming from a completely different industry, I knew that I wanted to challenge myself with something new and exciting.

What started out as a hobby, turned into one of my biggest passions and my career path...DESIGN! I'm am so grateful for all the skills I have learnt over the years. From starting out with word-art designs in Microsoft PowerPoint, to high-resolution artwork for publications, online advertising and engaging video content. It goes to show, when you look back on those small steps you doubted would "make a difference"??...Well, they made a huge difference.

I enjoy writing for different artists and their individual styles. I've also been privelaged enough to do many extra vocal work for Francois Henning (aka Snotkop) on many of his albums. Snotkop has reached Platinum status in South Africa and has performed all over SA and internationally.

It's hardly called work when it's your passion. Nothing fuels my career fire than doing what I love. Designing adds, mixing colours and themes is something that I can do for days on end and it doesn't even feel like effort. My advice to anyone is: "do what you love, and you'll love what you do."

My position at Calvary Chapel has been a very fulfilling position. My main responsibilities were to oversee all customer service areas. I was Online Media Manager over all the social media and online aspects of the business. I obtained an extensive skill base of maintaining an online presence as well as designing our website while keeping it up-to-date with new content. I also had to study and research new technologies to improve the audio visual team.Duties: Ensure hygiene standards are met, Oversee daily operations, Dealing with all customer service queries, Design and implement policies and procedures, Training of all staff (financial, PC and Online support and customer service), Oversee all financial aspects of the business, Driving all brand promotions, Troubleshoot all administrative and other various concerns, Brainstorm brand advancement techniques.

The time I spent at Planet Fitness grew me a lot as an individual. When I first started at PF I started as a receptionist. I was lucky enough to be chosen as the best candidate to manage the whole reception department at the Ruimsig branch.Later on I was approached by Head Office to recruit and train all branch Reception Managers. I operated under the title of “National Welcome Desk Manager”. To be selected for this position was a great honour and the company did not misplace their trust in me. I functioned and offered result on all areas of expectation. I had good relationships with all staff members, contractors and clients of the gym.I believe it was my excellent work ethic that awarded me this great role.Duties: Train and recruit all reception staff and managers, Worked closely with all sales and pre-sales staff, Ensure the quality of all club services rendered were at maximum levels, Worked closely with all group heads to ensure all promotions and policies were executed without problems, Reported directly to the Operations Director (Ian Hepburn) on all access statistics nationally, Be part of the creative and operations team to roll out all new procedures AND problem-solve any challenging scenario that might arise. Managed projects and outcomes of all higher level requests. Evolve and adjust my department to all new sales processes as well as train all reception staff and club managerial staff on
