I started my career in the Agriculture industry with a major grain company. Having been transferred to Alberta was then exposed to the oil/gas industry. I then made the transition to this innovative, progressive industry. My first experience was with a pipeline company in central Alberta/Saskachewan. I then attended SAIT and completed the Bachelor of Applied Petroleum Engineering to gain technical oilfield knowledge. This opened the door to Weatherford an industry leader. I worked in the cased hole/ open hole divisions. Having trained in Ft. Worth Texas on several occasions with multiple downhole tools, logging and interpretation of cased and open hole logs. Also gained experience in the MWD service side with Emag, Sondex and GE bluestar.Worked with Tricans coil tubing, cementing, frac crews and tool division. Also along side drilling and service rigs, isolation equipment, tong and casing services with Tricans completion systems. Have had the opportunity to work over-seas with our completions and coil tools. The challenges were many but the experiences extemely positive.Currently work in the R&D and operations divisions of Steelhaus Technologies Inc. Testing & assembly of prototype & existing tool suites including thermal liner hangers, Broadband sand & flow control thermal frac sleeves, Cyclone toe ports, Jackal frac & Harrier shifting tools, big bore & OH packers, cup tools, cemented ball drop systems, jars & accelerators, casing punch, coil frac valve & float equipment.
