My reporting has taken me to almost every pocket of society while reporting on America’s biggest stories including being the first U.S. journalist to interview the family of the gunman who attempted to assassinate then former President Donald Trump. I have earned a stellar reputation for high-profile exclusives on national travel assignments. I've come face-to-face with a mass murderer.I had eleven national exclusives in 2023.Covered the 2024 presidential election from Wisconsin where the race was called. Reported on the national midterm elections from Colorado in 2022 and in 2020 covered the presidential election from Ohio and Pennsylvania where the race was also called. Uncovered nearly 300 Covid-19 deaths inside nursing homes that Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine didn’t want publicly disclosed as an investigative journalist in Cincinnati. Won best investigation in Ohio in 2021 from the Ohio Society of Professional Journalists in addition to the Press Club of Cleveland. My reporting in New York caused a corrupt town to completely disband in November of 2017. An investigative series I spearheaded on Long Island resulted in then New York Governor Andrew M. Cuomo signing the Zombie House Bill. Part of a four-member team that won two national awards for investigative and local reporting. Have won several other state and local awards in New York and elsewhere. I was the first journalist to report on what became America’s largest E. coli outbreak. Covered the deaths of pop icons Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson. I appear on all NBC networks and platforms.
