As a senior sales manager, my primary focus was soliciting and contracting groups in the social, religious, military, education and fraternal markets.

Provide administrative Support to the General Manager, the Director of Sales, 5 proactive Sales Managers (Social, Transient & Group) & 2 Conference Service Managers.Coordinate all the details for social room blocks including arranging transportation and meals with the applicable parties. Serve as “catcher” for leads regardless of origination and “pitch” to appropriate Sales Manager.Answer all incoming calls within the 2nd ring in a friendly & professional manner, providing information, taking accurate messages or routing calls accordingly. Maintain & distribute the Banquet Event Orders weekly & as necessary when new ones pop-up. Coordinate and prepare collateral for sales meetings.Serve as office manager, order supplies as needed and maintain inventory on collateral to ensure that expense budget is not exceeded.Sort & route all incoming mail/correspondence as well as prepare & ship outgoing mail.Member of the C.A.R.E. & Safety committee, record minutes for my various monthly committee meetings as well as for the monthly property walk-through.
