About Deon Nathan
Over the past two decades, I have accumulated a wide range of skills and experiences that are well suited for senior leadership positions. I am a focused, hard working person, with a passion for learning from every situation and am always looking for creative solutions to difficult challenges. I have a MBA in International Business from Bar Ilan university in Israel, as well as Rabbinic Ordination and additional Rabbinic certifications in many areas of Jewish Law. Since earning my degree, I have worked in several fields, including corporate finance, international private banking, start-ups, community outreach, and in education. In all my positions, I have found my role morph into an internal consultant of sorts, to help the organization make strategic decisions for a stronger future position. Over the past seven years in Dallas, I have had the honor to work for DATA, a revolutionary community outreach organization that has changed the landscape of the Dallas Jewish community, and to take the role of CFO/COO at Torah Day School of Dallas, the largest Jewish Day School in the state of Texas. In the past three years, I have helped reshape the schools financial reality, from a chronic budget shortfalls, to balanced budgets, new initiatives, expansion of technology, and strategic decisions leading to long term strategies for success.
