Ive started my aircraft sheetmetal apprenticeship in 2004 at Denel Aviation and Qualified in 2006. Where I worked on Rooivalk and Orex (maintenance section) and Agusta A109 helicopter,Gripen rear fuselage, Airbus A400M Top Shell ,Rooivalk fuel drop tanks and Honda Jet wing tips (assembly section). All in accordance with the relevant specifications and process of the aircraft Manufacturer. At Solenta Aviation I did Maintenance and C Check(In accordance with PO-SRM specifications) on Embraer 145, ATR42-500,Beech Craft 1900D, Let L-410 and ATR72-200/212.Currently im employed at Sideslip Aviation Works doing Maintenance(In accordance with PO-SRM Specifications) on Beech Craft 35-33, Piper PA28-108, Cessna 172, Cessna 150K,Van’s Aircraft model RV7A,Cessna 177B,Piper 28-181,Beech Craft BE58,Piper PA28-180C,Cessna 177 Cardinal,Piper PA28R-180,One Design DR107 and Sling 2.I have experience in the following operations: Drilling,Reaming,Countersinking,Jig Bore and reaming,deburring,Riveting, cold working of holes,insulation of solid and blind rivets, Installation of pan head and countersunk Hi-locks,Rivenuts,Anchor nuts,Huck bolts,Composite threaded inserts,mixing and application of sealants,sub assembly’s,assembly line, flight line,manufacturing of parts,installation of modification’s maintenance and hot and cold bonding of partsI’ve work with Aluminium alloys,Titanium,Stainless steel,carbon fiber and Kevlar
