Trade Compliance Advisor
CurrentResponsible for incorporation of the Export Management and Compliance Program (EMCP) into the Quality Management System (QMS).Based on analysis of the EMCP practices and QMS processes, improvement opportunities are identified and solutions developed that promote compliance with the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) economic and trade sanctions, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and Export Administration Regulations (EAR).Continuous Improvement is a culture promoted throughout FlightSafety. As such, my role is on-going and achieved through the development or maintenance of tools and resources such as business processes/work instructions, decision tools, best practice guidelines, training presentations and an inter-company 'Export Control' site.
