Having worked within the industry for over 28 years, I have developed a wide range of skills that would meet and exceed the expectations for the role. I started at the bottom of the industry and have worked my way up to Owner of my own Hospitality Company, under which we owned and operated various establishments under the umbrella. I know what it is to take full responsibility for the unit. Having to generate sales and cut on unnecessary expenses and areas where revenue is not maximised and/or lost. Implementing action plans, corrective measures, policies, procedures, and systems to run at optimal capacity within budget constraints. One of the units I operated on a lease agreement, comprised of the hotel as well as 9 Sectional Title units that formed part of a Body Corporate. Running large functions and banquets together with a-la-carte restaurants, coffee shops and bars, were part of my daily functions together with the management of a hotel.During my career prior to operating my own establishments, I have had a number of personal achievements, including drafting, and implementing the SOP for a group of hotels and resorts. I also opened four new units for a hotel group and implemented everything from the ground up.I am also an ICF Professional Business and Life Coach, which will add a lot of value when it comes to staff training and coaching.Proven leadership skills which develop and empower staff to achieve their goals, along with a thorough understanding of the market trends, are qualities that will help me in making the desired contribution for the benefit of the business. I am a natural leader and takes on work pressure with ease. My communications skills and people skills are exceptional. I work well both within a team and individually. I like to get things done immediately and do not tolerate missed deadlines.
