Project Social Performance Lead
CurrentDeon is responsible for all Social Performance aspects of the Future of Mogalakwena Project Portfolio, which includes the (1) Third Concentrator and Mine Expansion Feasibility Study, (2) Underground PFS-A Study, Exploration Decline Development, (3) Downstream Studies at Waterval and Polokwane Processing Complexes (ACPs, SCF & MCP plants), (4) Solar PV Project and (5) New Technologies as per FutureSmart Mining. He is responsible to deliver the necessary Social Performance studies and reports, as guided by the Anglo American Investment Development Model (IDM) framework, for stage-gate approvals by Group InvestCo. In addition, Deon is the Project Manager for a major Resettlement Project (+1000 households), which is currently in its 30 month planning phase.
