This also requires prioritisation of work schedules and related travel and expenditure as appropriate and in accordance with the unit’s business plan.• To conduct research and benchmarking into policy and standard operating procedure initiatives, thereby identifying best practice models, conduct an impact analysis and then recommend the most desirable option.• To formulate / draft policy and standard operating procedure documents taking the identified best practice and recommended options into account, following a consultative process.• To assist Operations to monitor compliance to policy and standard operating procedures.• To transfer skills and knowledge.
