I provide oversight of all union negotiations and committees. I have been instrumental in reducing our turnover rate from 21% in 2005 to 18.72% in 2016. I developed and implemented a training program that outlines hiring and promotion processes. I enhanced staff growth and enabled career advancement through the creation of career laddering opportunities within our agency. I train management and staff on understanding and enforcement of policies and procedures. I maximize efficiency by identifying and establishing yearly goals for human resources and I drive implementation of goals through all levels of the department. Key Accomplishments:  I enhanced productivity and employee satisfaction by helping reduce employee grievances by 130% in 2016, through collaboration on policy and procedures, and through developing esteem and responsiveness between Management/Supervisors and Union representatives/stewards. I significantly improved relations, saved time, and conserved revenue, by successfully resolving unlawful labor practice dispute in favor of company.

I created and established the Human Resources Department, a department which is still intact and functioning successfully today. I provided oversight throughout the development and implementation of all recruiting efforts. I analyzed, recommended, and implemented the organizations’ compensation plan and comprehensive benefit package. I demonstrated calm, clear-headed leadership through the creation and implementation of professional development policy and procedures. I enhanced staff competency and retention through the development of new hire orientation and on-boarding process, providing employees with essential knowledge and programmatic training. I streamlined essential lines of communication between legal counsel and Independent Contractors in support of employee benefit relations.Key Accomplishments:  I was instrumental in staff increases of 382% in 2012, 145% in 2013, and 120% in 2014. I slashed costs by saving 1% in annual premium costs in 2014 and 7% in 2015 through review and renewal of existing medial/dental plans. I was instrumental in the creation and implementation of Human Resource organizational training for directors and managers.

The Scoular Company (677 staff nationwide)I implemented and maintained all leaves of absence – FMLA, salary continuation program, and benefits. I served as the intermediary and reporter for the safety committee, and processed all testing materials and documentation. I was responsible for processing benefit elections of self-insured medical and dental plan. I reviewed and processed all Unemployment Insurance claims.
