My background in studying the fundamentals of English has helped me immensely and the support of the various faculty at Kent State University have given me the guidance in what to teach, how to teach it, and what will be the best experience for those trying to learn English.I also have experienced other cultures. At Kent State University, I was a member of the Japanese Culture Club and had attended many Cultural Cafes held on campus. For several years, I had been a Conversation Partner to many international students coming from countries such as Japan, China, and Saudi Arabia. I have respect for other cultures and a strong desire to learn more about people from countries not my own.
