As a fundraiser for the University of Virginia's Cavalier Connect program, I spoke with alumni, parents, and friends of the University of Virginia in order to raise funds, build and maintain relationships with constituents, and share information on behalf of the University. Crucial funds include scholarships, University programs, University libraries, and UVA’s many different schools.

Participated in supporting a voter engagement plan which included meeting planning deadlines and being an active spokesperson. Throughout my time as a Democracy Fellow, I carried out voter registration and voter education activities on my college campus. Additionally, I informed my peers about registration and election deadlines, provided information about issues and candidates on the ballot, and engaged students as voters and voter advocates for their peers.

Un-PAC focuses on dismantling corruption and inequality throughout America by lobbying Congress to pass structural democracy reform and encouraging students to become leaders on their campuses. My duties included executing a campus organizing plan, training students on how to organize and lobby officials, drafting memos and articles, speaking with senators and representatives, giving presentations, assisting senior staff, and more. This work was done with the ultimate goal of passing the "For the People Act" legislation in Congress, which would ban partisan gerrymandering, reduce the influence of money in politics, expand voting rights, and create stronger ethics rules for those serving in office.
