CurrentProvide operational management, leadership, and policy direction of the Center for Academic Retention and Enhancement (CARE) which includes multiple institution-wide student programs and initiatives that promote equity, diversity, and inclusion for first-generation and other traditionally underrepresented student populations.Serves as a member of the senior management team for both the Division of Undergraduate Studies and the Division of Student Affairs. Participates in strategic planning focusing on access, equity, and diversity within and beyond the Division of Undergraduate Studies and Division of Student Affairs.Provides guidance and direction for recruitment, retention, and other success initiatives for students traditionally underrepresented in higher education.In partnership with the FSU Foundation, leads fund raising efforts to generate additional support for scholarships and programmatic costs.Develops and maintains partnerships throughout the university and with both local and national communities to meet departmental and institutional goals and objectives. Consults with student groups, alumni, parents, and other advocacy groups about personal and academic needs of the student population and how to support student success.
