I am the writer and narrator of My Only Story: a podcast and live investigation. Its two seasons have attracted more than 800,000 downloads and was awarded the world's best serialised podcast at the New York Festivals Radio Awards in 2022.Before becoming an investigative podcaster, I spent 18 years as an advertising copywriter and creative director. I was the lead global writer for Nando's for five years, and I continue to provide freelance copywriting services to select clients. (I'm bizarrely good at financial services.)And I provide heavyweight English and Afrikaans in-studio voice direction for advertising agencies in Johannesburg.My first book was published in English and Afrikaans by Penguin Random House in 2020. It has been translated into Italian and Arabic.
