Beauty Curated began out of my love for innovating new beauty products, brands, and marketing, both nationally and internationally. I am currently exploring new ways to fulfill my interest and experience in beauty.My previous experience as CEO and founder of, Xen-Tan premium sunless tan from 2002-2016, began when I decided to use my years of experience in the beauty business to create a new luxury self-tan that smelled delicious and delivered a more brown tone to the skin. Creating a new category, Prestige Self-tan, and innovating new products, became my passion and built a successful international brand that sold in Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Dillard’s, Ulta, Sephora, HSN, QVC and many more prestigious retailers around the world. Building an international business with no investors and no more than an idea took an incredible amount of hours, so I led my company from my home office, in order to be with my children every day, as well as empowering my employees to do the same when possible. My assistants and interns became part of the family as well as sophisticated and creative contributors.I wanted an environment where people could contribute to the company using their own unique skills and experience. Those positions drew some of the most talented and hard-working professionals I could have hoped for and their intellect, drive and loyalty was a huge part of the creative process. Everyone was empowered to contribute from the start and that atmosphere of inclusion proved to be a formula for success. In our many years together we launched 22 successful products and built an amazing brand that received attention and many awards from the most prestigious beauty magazines: Vogue,Bazaar, InStyle, Elle, Allure, People, New Beauty, Health, Glamour, Cosmopolitan and many many more.Our dedicated A-list celebrity following helped to deliver our message that self-tanning should be a healthy alternative to sun tanning and a very luxurious experience.
