I'm Derald Gray, the founder of DG Visionaries, a company that offers high-value video production and mobile DJ services. While growing up in Elkhart Indiana, I fell in love with video production, creating YouTube shorts with my siblings and gaining recognition as the "Video Guy." My professional journey began at Ball State University where I studied telecommunications with a focus on video production, and I fueled my passion for music by DJing events for my fraternity, Sigma Nu. After college, I worked as a photojournalist, receiving an Emmy Award nomination for a series on bus stop safety that led to improved legislation. However, my longing for creative freedom and entrepreneurship pushed me to start DG Visionaries. DGV has become a sought-after vendor in the Midwest wedding industry, expanding from 16 weddings in 2020 to over 80 in 2024- while also producing commercials, documentaries, and corporate livestreams. Beyond my work, I'm committed to giving back to my community & am actively involved in various organizations focused on community development. Being able to make a positive impact where I grew up brings me fulfillment. Overall, I'm excited to continue growing DG Visionaries, serving clients, and making a difference in the lives of those around me. That's the Visionary way!
