My journey has been anything but ordinary, a small-town kid from the mountains of West Virginia taking apart computers to spearheading industry-changing initiatives in higher education and technology. As the visionary behind The Excellence Factory, I've dedicated myself to attacking disjointed systems and experiences to scale organizations' reach and impact. My mission? To scale access to education and innovation, transform the financial psychology of our communities, and teach people about the invisible economy.My adventure has now led me to the University of Cincinnati, where as Assistant Vice Provost of Admissions and Enrollment Management, I lead strategic visions across multiple campuses. Alongside, my doctoral research dives into how strategic partnerships with K-12 school districts can transform institutions into destination schools to serve all types of learners. Before ending my chapter with Lincoln University of Missouri, I initiated and successfully executed an enrollment fee component to orientation, generating an additional $203,700 in revenue and increased undergraduate enrollment by 25%.
