-Execute CBRN response operations utilizing specialized testing equipment to identify and quantify threats during HAZMAT and suspected weapons of mass destruction (WMD) events.-Provide senior military leaders with CBRN threat data analysis, classified risk assessments, and detailed plume models to predict contamination and hazard footprints.-Determine contamination levels, identify contaminated areas and predict CBRN hazard duration timelines. Advise, direct, and supervise EM and CBRN collection and sampling teams.-Oversee and manage the Installation Disaster Response Force. Manage the installation EOC and serve as the EOC Manager and office of primary responsibility for ESF-5, Information and Planning. Provide technical advice to the EOC Director and lead functional ESF member objectives.-Manage all aspects of EM Education and Training Program. Develop and distribute multimedia presentations, lesson plans, educational pamphlets and handouts to support training and preparedness efforts. Instruct using lecture and demonstration-performance methods for assigned installation populations.-Determine resource requirements, develops budgets, executes and monitors expenditures for EM and CBRN materials and equipment. Ensure authorized and required CBRN protective equipment and clothing, detection devices and monitoring instruments are available, calibrated and in serviceable operating condition.-Coordinate EM mutual support agreements and foster mutual support during disasters, responses and contingencies.-Manage and execute the Installation EM Program. Implement DoD, AF, and national consensus standards and guidance into installation level instructions, plans, guides and checklists.-Develop EM plans and supporting checklists, which incorporate planning and response elements into a single integrated program. Develop program guidance, local support agreements and other documents supporting homeland defense and expeditionary operations.

In support of the United States Senate Sergeant at Arms Emergency Preparedness office.-Guide planning projects involving the Senate community as well as outside agencies (federal, state, and local levels).-Create, review, and update Senate office emergency preparedness plans in accordance with emergency management policy.-Provide expertise in technical writing, professional editing and proofreading services for publishing of emergency preparedness plans, brochures and training materials. -Support the Senate Emergency Operations Center during both planned and unplanned special events.-Instruct senate staff on all preparedness topics to include: personal preparedness, emergency equipment use, emergency action plans (EAP), responding to an active shooter, and staff accountability procedures. -Provide recommendations on direction for the Senate’s online accountability database development and validate testing of system updates.-Brief the emergency preparedness director on analysis of hazards, risks, and vulnerabilities to the Senate community.-Perform office safety inspections and provide tailored recommendations regarding emergency action best-practices.
