- I wrote the image management tools (MIBE, build_smartos, build_kvm, Jenkins) we used to create hundreds of images across all of our container platforms: Solaris Zones, KVM, and Docker. I wrote the MySQLDTraceTookit to do so.- Built the mysqlgauge tool (A sysbench-parallel harness) used to measure MySQL performance across VMs (on GitHub).- Created the partnership with Percona MySQL / Joyent, and became a performance expert in this area having tuned VM images for Percona and creating “quickbackup” utilities / services for percona-xtrabackup.- Replicated and clustered MySQL setups for high end clients. I wrote scripts to make this automated.- Implemented SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) across the Support, Engineering teams that helped standardize routine tasks for customers.- Provided customer support using ZenDesk and JIRA with ticket resolution and on call rotation.
