About Derek Barger
Currently at Doroni Aerospace designing the Batteries, Electrical and Electronics for the Evtol aircraft. This is the first ever 2 person personal Evtol flown in USA with a Person inside of a building. It took me 9months to build this on a limited budget.The best in the world custom Lithium Battery Packs and Battery Management Systems (BMS) mostly for racing applications. Over the years I have set many records with my battery packs including the 1st in history 201mph in a 1/4mile with a Motorcycle and the 1st with a Dragster as well. I have worked with or currently working with Doroni Aerospace, A123, Buell Racing, Harley Davidson, Mythbuster, Orange County Choppers, Steve Huff Motorsports, Don Garlits, Jeff Disinger, KillaCycle, NASCAR, etc. Also worked as Production Manager/ Engineering at Handix Scientific producing many instruments such as Portable Optical Particle Spectrometer. One of these units is on the International Space Station (ISS). Also worked with NOAA on multiple projects. I am also designing and manufacturing atmospheric particle measurement equipment for NOAA and NASA. Portable Optical Particle Spectrometers. One of these is on the International Space Station.
