This role was with Kinder Morgan's natural gas Treating Business Unit. This included the CrossTex, GasChill, and SouthTex treating group that Kinder Morgan bought out. • I executed amine, dehydration, JT skid, mechanical refrigeration unit, and condensate stabilization projects from the initial process simulation, engineering bid, plant refurbishment, install estimate, PHA/HAZOP, installation, and startup for individual well head and central gathering facilities for various producers.• Provided technical support, leadership and oversight to all commercial, operational, regulatory and maintenance activities as assigned within the KM Treating Business Unit, including gas conditioning, dehydration, project management and construction activities.• Conformed to a wide variety of customer construction and commercial standards by representing KM Treating during contract evaluation and at PHA/Hazop's for new and existing facilities. • Led operators, crews, and construction team members for onsite plant refurbishments, installations, startups, debottlenecking, demobilizations, site to site moves, maintenance, and regulatory work.• Provided control valve, vessel, pipe, and PSV sizing for plant refurbishments and installations.• Coordinated and procured foundations, trucking, cranes, crews, electricians, rental equipment, welders, hydro test crews, insulators, pump technicians, PVF, plant fluids, and flares for plant installations.• Standardized NACE and ASME boiler code applicability for the refurbishment process for amine plants.

This role was with Kinder Morgan’s Natural Gas Treating Division

Assisted in the engineering of pipeline hydraulics, dehydration, processing/treating, compression, meter/control stations, liquid/salt handling, storage facilities, and right of way acquisition in the Bakken & Barnett Shale.Made studies for the justification for the installation of two horizontal coalescer separators in order to prevent unscheduled compressor downtime and maintenance due to salt build up.Created economic projections for gas lift projects for various wells within the Barnett Shale.Worked with operators during pigging operations, Ariel compressor, and cooling fan preventive maintenance within the DFW Midstream assets.

Executed and implemented a $160,000 project with J&J electricians, Eaton, and Schneider Electric contractors during plant shutdowns in order to be in compliance with OSHA Arc Flash regulations.Coordinated with J&J staff in managing mechanics, electricians, and contractors in order to deliver preventive maintenance, equipment installation, and capital projects in a timely manner.Reduced makeup water usage and increased the amount of recovered condensate to boiler and deaerator equipment through piping modifications and steam powered pump resizing.Developed detailed phases of engineering support for capital projects to assure compliance with regulatory requirements starting from studies for justification to project completion.Established standards and policies for inspection and preventive maintenance of equipment in accordance with pharmacopoeia engineering principles and safety regulations.

Worked directly with project engineers to attain basic knowledge of stabilizers, vapor recovery units, compressor stations, amine and glycol units, mole sieves, and cryogenic gas processing.
