I am the head of content for Silverbird Television and Film. Silverbird is the largest media and entertainment conglomerate in West Africa. Based in Lagos, Nigeria, the home of the 2nd largest film market in the world - Nollywood, Silverbird Group has TV, Radio, Cinemas, film distribution, real estate, and shopping malls in Nigeria, Ghana and Liberia. Silverbird also owns the only African owned studio in Hollywood, Dream Magic Studios.I oversee all content (in house) as well as development and acquisitions for Silverbird Television as it is overhauled to become the leading African entertainment network. I also oversee content and development for the forthcoming Silverbird Film Division. The responsibilities including reviewing in house programs to reformat for 2018, training of in-house staff, development of new programs, as well as acquiring potential programs for the network. I also am actively involved in identifying and pitching brands on shows as well as on brand and sponsor partnership possibilities. In my position, I shuttle between Dream Magic Studios in Los Angeles and our headquarters in Lagos.

I was a Consulting Producer for Silverbird Television Network in Nigeria and West Africa analyzing the production, post-production and distribution for the Silverbird Television Network. In this capacity, I completed a thorough analysis of all aspects of the network, from its company structure to the current productions to future needs for the network. I assisted in developing new content for the network. Finally, I co-directed the live broadcast of the 2013 and 2014 MBGN Beauty pageant from Bayelsa.

They are currently developing original content for their web platforms. Responsibilities included, but not limited to: Scheduling, budgeting, determining the necessary equipment and looks of each show by coordinating with the DP, Post Supervisor, and EP, casting the talent, scripting the shows, directing the talent and running the set.• Field produced, shot, and edited original web series, The Fresh Five.

Story producer for the Discovery Channel show, Swamp Wars.• Story Cut individual segments across multiple episodes for season 3 of Swamp Wars• Wrote the interview questions for each character, per the narrative of the segment, as well as thevoiceover.• Oversaw the story cutting and editing of a full episode of season 3, including determining the multiple storylines of the episode, assigning and coordinating the editors to edit the acts, assigning and overseeing the finishing editor, overseeing the delivery of the rough cut and fine cut to Discovery, and overseeing and coordinating the editors to make final changes before locking the episode.

Producer and DIrector of reality pilot about South Beach real estate mogul, Thomas Kramer.• Produced and directed a pilot about Thomas Kramer for SOBE Entertainment• Responsibilities included: determining the plot of the pilot as well as each episode, hiring the crew, budgeting, scheduling all aspects of production and post-production, directing the pilot including all interviews, hiring and assigning post editing, graphics and audio, overseeing the rough and final cuts for delivery to SOBE Entertainment

• Producer/Director of various field segments for Designing Spaces, on WE• Responsible for overseeing script development, direction of principle photography and post-production.• Experienced with multiple camera setups, skeleton crews and tight deadlines.

• Acted as lead coordinator managing the pre & post-production phases.• Successfully scheduled, planned and executed over 500 domestic and international commercials for advertisement agencies and independent clients.• Responsibilities including, but not limited to scheduling shoots, creating line-budgets, hiring of freelance employees, securing of shoot locations, permits, and work visas, coordination of travel, scheduling of voice-over talent, supplying project status reports and works in progress to clients, and purchasing/licensing of stock footage.
