As the Tooling Manager I am responsible for all projects within the Tooling Depratment at every stage of manufacturing. Within the department we strive to produce tools that meet or exceed all requirements, and deliver them on time, whether they are for our internal or external customers. This can only be done by building an atmosphere that promotes employee growth and opportunity which we strive for each and every day.

As the Tooling Technical Supervisor I help promote effective work flow between all of the tooling departments. From PO reciept to product shipment I help the various departments realize their goals both individually and collectively.

As a lead weld inspector I work to ensure our products meet all applicable , internal customer, and industry requirements focusing on fusion and resistance welding applications of both structural and aircraft codes. I work to train and direct other inspectors within the department and ensure they are accepting parts in accordance with applicable standards. Included in my duties are initial review of projects to ensure that all requirements are flowed down to the shop and that all required qualifications are held. Included in my duties are to educate shop floor employees of requirements and drawing comprehension, as well as maintain our weld consumable inventory.

As a Junior Tool Builder I worked in many functions relating to manufacturing aircraft tooling and quickly moved to the night shift lead position.My experiences were varied from machining on manual, CNC, and Wire EDM maching, to assembly work, HVLP painting, and other tooling related tasks. As a night shift lead I was responsible for training new employees, maintianing work flow through the shop during the shift, problem solving issues without full support from other departments, and preparing work for the next shift as well as maintaining my regular junior tool builder duties.
