Responsibilities include; Created and implemented new procedure and approach for generating engineers estimate of costs for all potential new projects. New procedure includes graphical quantity analysis and design that results in an easy to follow presentation to clients while also reducing costs by allowing detailed conceptual estimates prior to full engineering design and CAD drawings. New procedure also includes maintaining an up to date databases of unit costs from multiple contractors throughout the southwest region. Developed and introduced new service of Lighting Design to the company. This required extensive and ongoing research and education in the aspects of Architectural and Design Lighting. I have attended classes and recieved training from some of the countries largest lighting manufacturers and largest retailers on proper lighting design and luminare selection. Currently working with a number of manufacturers in the LED industry to revolutionize site and building lighting to minimize light tresspass, operating cost, and energy usage, which results in major savings to the customer. Responding to RFP's for both private and public contracts. Generation of SWPPP documents and Design of Erosion and Sediment Conrol Plans for new projects and SWPPP Inspections. In 2013 I started a new company that specialized in remote sensing using sUAS aka UAV's aka Drones. The initial goal was to provide a more efficient and cost effective way to map and survey areas that could only be done with conventional aircraft. We have completed surveys/projects anywhere in size from 4 acres up to 1,300 acres and could accommodate more if needed. With a lot of research, trial and error, and a few crashes along the way, we are now able to offer small to large scale mapping and aerial imagery that is on par with, and in many instances exceeds fixed wing solutions and accuracies. We have a number of platforms that can meet any need from photogrammetry to LiDAR based solutions as well as bathymetry surveys using unmanned boats. We are currently expanding into various segments of the mapping world including but not limited to; Mining Analysis, Precision Agriculture, Golf Course Turf Management, Utility Line Inspections, and Solar Field Inspection. Volo Pervidi has also obtained FAA authorization (section 333) to operate commercially in the United States for multiple craft and projects. We believe we are the first surveying/mapping firm based in New Mexico to obtain this authorization.

The City Council delegated certain powers and authority to the EPC when it was created. The EPC has the power to amend the City's Official Zoning Map in response to zone change requests. It has the authority to decide on site development plan approval requests for SU-1 zoned and shopping center designated sites. The EPC, in its advisory role to the City Council, reviews and provides recommendations on annexation requests, certain zone change requests, proposed amendments to the Zoning Code and adoption of major amendments to Rank I, II and III Plans - including the Comprehensive Plan, area plans and sector plans. Appeals of EPC decisions are heard by the City Council.EPC decisions are based on compliance with the Zoning Code, as well as compliance with applicable goals, policies and intents of City adopted Master Plans (Rank I, II and III Plans) such as the Albuquerque/Bernalillo County Comprehensive Plan. Zone change requests are evaluated for compliance with the City's policies and criteria for zone map amendments found in Resolution 270-1980. It is the burden of an applicant to show why a zone change is appropriate. Depending on the scope and nature of a request, other City plans, policies and ordinances may influence EPC decisions and recommendations.
