After graduating from Auburn I found a job with Elwood Staffing in Albertville, AL. There I was exposed to multiple human resource related functions. It also gave me exposure to different types of industries in the area. Shortly after beginning I was promoted to on-site specialist in Murfreesboro, TN working for an automotive manufacturer. After a year I was transferred to Talladega, AL serving the same role for a consolidation warehouse. From that point I was fortunate to learn about a Human Resources Manager position in Boaz, AL for Pinnacle Manufacturing. The role began as a human resource generalist which included all phases of an employee’s life cycle; attraction, recruitment, on-boarding, development, retention, and separation. Two years later I also assumed responsibility of our safety program.
