Managing the Strategic Planning team covering the following areas:Master Production Scheduling - Subsea Well Completion kit through the plant.Materials Management - Creation and maintenance of Material Masters, and Bills of Material, and the subsequent analysis of material statuses.Strategic Planning - Creation of Forecast, Quotes and Backlog Schedules, including any changes through life of Project.GPS Team - Develop, implement and govern the GPS toolset for Well Completions in ScotlandPlanning Tools used:Primavera P6 Enterprise - for schedule creation, supporting Project Execution, Master Scheduling and Sales and Operations Planning.Oracle Inspire - Middleware for transferring data between SAP and P6 and vice versa.SAP - Enterprise Resource Planning, utilising MRP, Project Systems, Material Management and Production Planning.

Role is to manage and execute the implementation, development and robust operation of the Global Planning System within the WCS Dunfermline organisation. The Global Planning System as an integrated business system consisting of Primavera, Oracle Inspire, SAP and an inhouse developed Dashboard.Also a key part of the Role is involvement as a key member of the Business Global Planning community where global planning developments are agreed, tested and rolled out to the worldwide subsea locations.

Project managed the delivery of drilling and completions equipment for a number of Subsea Oil Production Companies, some of which were up to the value of £20million. this consisted of managing a small multi disciplined team, which included key skills such as planning, procurement, engineering, quality and cost control.

 As part of the Group Procurement process, communicate the Company’s needs and strategy and act as ‘Key Buyer’ for selected key materials, taking the lead in negotiations with suppliers on behalf of all Group companies. Establish and maintain long term agreement with suppliers of key materials that provide best value for money for the Company taking into consideration quality, security of supply, lead time and price. Reduce the number of suppliers by establishing and maintaining framework agreements with multi goods and service suppliers.  To manage and improve the quality of the materials and services received from suppliers To lead and support procurement related improvement initiatives. Manage the collation and maintenance of all Customer Project Plans and the Company Master Production Schedule for both firm workload and scenario planning of key prospects. Manage the SAP production order processes to ensure that timely and accurate work instructions including supporting documentation are provided to production teams in line with project plan requirements.

 Create and maintain the Master Business Schedule which looks up to 18 months in advance and is based on firm workload and key prospects rated > 60%. Communicate scheduling data throughout the relevant parts of the Company and Group  Prepare document information and instructions for manufacture and construction Provide support and advice to the business improvement and contract project teams with regard to planning and preparations information.

 Primary function: to maintain the master business schedule, ensuring that it was fully resourced, checked and topical. Develop the Peebles planning function in line with the business plan . Support Sales department in order wining process. Chair and present the load and capacity meetings including scenario capacity planning, graphically presenting options to meet business plan. Support Customer Service Cell, producing customer progress reports and charts. Support and assist the Operations Manager in continuous improvement activities.
