Job Title: --Mechanical Engineer for CCTV pipeline inspection manufacturer designing camera transporter and lateral inspection systems--Responsibilities included:·Responsible for every aspect of product life cycle including design, prototype, testing, first article, production release, documentation, and support, all in a very fast, high-paced work environment despite fierce competitor competition.·Lead engineer on LAMP II design, prototype, production, and support.·Designing assemblies/transporters to survive harsh environments and industrial use.·Complete part drawings for vendor prototype/production as well as BOMs & assembly drawings for manufacturing.·Assemble and test prototype components and assemblies.·Support manufacturing, production ECRs, and manufacturing vendors.·Create project time-lines, track cost, and manage a small team.

·Design 3-D models of prototype marine windshields using Inventor 10 & Pro/Engineer Wildfire 2.0 for companies such as Grady White, Tige, Four Winns, Stingray, etc.·Create 3-D CAD models of all current production windshields/glass/metal and vinyl extrusions·Created conceptual window assembly for Volvo semi-truck sleeper cab using Pro/Engineer Wildfire 2.0·Quality check extrusion orders & windshield plots to AutoCAD files·Input cutting programs into Elumatec DG-244 programmable double miter saw for production use·Input new flat glass patterns into proprietary inventory database·Perform BOM and pricing checks for prototype windshields and assemblies
