Currently working as a Rig Electronics Technician. I maintain, operate, and repair a variety of shipboard systems on a 6th generation drill ship. I program and repair PLC's, maintain instrumentation and control systems, computer networks, and phone systems. I work on VFD's, industrial networks, propulsion systems and power generation. However my primary mission is to support the drilling operations of the ship and the equipment that makes this possible to include NOV drilling equipment, top drives, pipe racking systems, drawworks, and mud processing systems. I also work on cranes, from small jib cranes, to 165 ton subsea, active heave capable cranes. Fire and gas systems, security systems, navigational and DP systems. You name it, if it uses electricity, chances are I've worked on it.

I was responsible for the protection of government assets at federal facilities in the St Louis Metropolitan area. I enforced laws, building policies, defended against threats both internally and externally, and protected personnel and materials.

I worked as a Leading Chief Petty Officer onboard a US Navy Arleigh Burke destroyer. I was a technical expert on two major weapon systems and the electronic, pneumatic, and computer systems that supported them. I lead junior technicians in the repair and replacement of major weapon systems.
