Teamed with a major manufacturing firm to design and model a product supply chain that leveraged business rules to dynamically change a cross-enterprise business process in response to various market events in real-time. Developed a WebSphere Portal based dashboard that integrated Lotus collaboration products to allow cross-enterprise collaboration and insight into the supply chain across customers and suppliers. The underlying process definition leveraged web service technologies including SOAP, WSDL, BPEL4WS, and WS-* in order to track interactions across enterprises.Presented proof-of-concept to top IBM executives and worked with IBM product teams to transition project concepts into appropriate IBM software products.Project resulted in the submission of 4 patent applications to the US Patent and Trademark Office.
