I grew up in a bilingual household, both parents spoke Spanish. I grew up with 7 siblings. I have played baseball, football, and track. I graduated from Davis Highschool. I completed an AA at Modesto Junior College. In about 2007, I completed the police academy and received post certification. In about 2010, I graduated from CSU Stanislaus with a bachelor's degree . From 2012 to 2016, I attended law school in Sacramento. I passed the California State Bar in July of 2016. (My work summary excludes non-legal volunteer work and internships that I've done) From approx. 2006 to 2008, I worked at the Modesto Police Officer. I was employed as a police officer. From approx. 2008 to 2014, I worked with Stanislaus Orthopedics. I worked as an assistant in the medical office and a physical therapist assistant assistant. From approx. 2014 to 2015, I worked at a family law firm in Sacramento. I did legal research, drafted court forms and motions on behalf of our clients in the office. In approx. September 2016 to March 2017, I interned at the Stanislaus County District Attorney's Office. I did legal research and drafting. From March 2017 to January 2021, I worked for the Law Offices of Mark S. Nelson. The primary area of practice there was personal injury. I did legal drafting, research, claims negotiations, litigation, including interrogatories, depositions (witness & expert), mediation, arbitration and settlement conferences. From January 2021 to present. I work at Perry & Associates. I do criminal defense and continue doing personal injury. I do drafting, research, court appearances, including arguing motions, preliminaries and trials. I continue to do the same activities previously mentioned when I worked at the personal injury firm. I am passionate about law. I am competitive. I care about being a strong advocate for my clients.
