In the housing industry, I started off as a Residential Assistant for South Dakota State University in 2014, which is where I worked until I was promoted to being the Summer Residence Manager from May of 2015 to August of 2015. From there, I was promoted to being the property and resident manager for all of the universities off-campus apartments. As apartment manager, I handled leasing, check ins and outs, contract signing, and handling the day to day problems that arose, such as work orders, lockouts, and answering any questions the residents may have. Additionally, For most of my life I have worked at a family-run steakhouse which I have been co-running for the past several months. This includes cooking, bartending, waiting tables, managing the other employees, and trying to make sure that all customers are satisfied.
