About Derek Cody
Started studies in heavy duty/ diesel mechanics in high school and worked as a technician in a quick lube shop during high school. Moved to Louisiana in 2010 ( 20 years old) and got a job as an automotive mechanic. In 2011 I started working as a bread route driver for Flowers Baking Co. and bought a route after 7 months. Owned and operated my route for 10 years until I moved back to Holland, MI. Started a new career path after moving back and decided HVACR was my calling. Been one year in working for ProTemp Inc and found a job I really enjoy. We specialized in refrigeration but do a large range of HVACR related jobs including gas piping, furnace/heater installation/repair, make up air installation/repair, preventative maintenance, chiller/boiler repair, custom ductwork. This work is done in anything from residential to light commercial to industrial. Im always furthering my education in the trade and looking to find new opportunities to benefit my loved ones and me.
