My duties include vendor management and procurement processes across various technology areas such as: AWS, Oracle Cloud, Oracle Database, Oracle WebLogic, IBM WebSphere, Oracle SOA; Pitney Bowes Products, EDIFECS Suite,3M Grouper, RHEL, Oracle Linux, Windows, Oracle Siebel, IBM COGNOS, IBM FileNet, and IBM DataStage. They also include creating documents for vendor selection of cloud vendors, technology products, outsourcing vendors, infrastructure vendor and enterprise solution vendors. I research a variety of vendors and define objective selective criteria, evaluating and recommending potential new technology vendors. I negotiate price and terms and conditions for vendors as well as monitor, track, analyze, and evaluate vendors performance. Furthermore, I’m responsible for vendor related communication and problem solving to meet objectives in the use of the vendor technologies. I manage risks and escalate potential issues including effective documentation and communication of potentially high impact issues to the management team as necessary, and work towards timely and effective resolution of vendor issues. I adhere to corporate standards concerning conflicts of interest, due-diligence, risk management, vendor and management communication, interactions with peers, superiors and with the team. I help teams valuate and implement strategic sourcing opportunities as well as enterprise wide technology cost savings.

Responsibilities:I set-up and maintained Corporate client computers and servers for the Lansing CHAMPS project. I worked as the Help Desk level I, and III for both Lansing and South Dakota offices. Duties included hardware setup, repair and inventory control as well as IT/AV product recommendations and purchasing. I was responsible for the installation of servers, network switches, cabling and AV equipment. I maintained corporate laptops, including the installation and administration of Microsoft Office 365 (OWA). I helped maintain and install servers and was on call to maintain that equipment 24/7. Other special projects included the facilities liaison for building standup/remodeling. I was also an instrumental part of the Lansing office network and server upgrades which were done in 2017-2018.
