Staff Attorney in the Loan Guaranty National Practice Group, which is a nationwide, specialized group of attorneys within the Office of General Counsel, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. The LG NPG primarily serves as legal counsel to Loan Guaranty Services (the most common and recognizable benefit Loan Guaranty administers is the VA home loan program). Our work at LP NPG is a cross section of real estate practice, litigation assistance, policy guidance, regulatory compliance and oversight functions. We are accustomed to working in various jurisdictions across the country and with many different parties, including VA departments and personnel, the Department of Justice and U.S. Attorneys, private lenders, purchasers, veterans, title companies, foreclosure and eviction firms, government contractors, and the attorneys representing these parties. As a bonus, our work can positively and directly impact the veterans and support the larger mission of the VA.

As an attorney in a small city, my practice touches on virtually all aspects of the law. I truly enjoy interacting with my clients, other attorneys, judges and court staff and value the personal connections I make along the way. I continue to serve as Treasurer of the Terre Haute Bar Association, Board Member of Mental Health America of Vigo County and the Volunteer Lawyer Program of Southwestern Indiana, and sit on the Community Impact Committee for the United Way of the Wabash Valley.
