As an Application Engineer at Autoliv I was the principal design engineer over 7 programs. I balanced customer, supplier, and company requirements to develop a functional and manufacturable design while meeting key program deadlines.I led design efforts on global and local cross functional teams. Our global teams consisted of team members from Japan, Mexico, and China. I was responsible for coordinating design efforts for our teams on a global scale.In addition to my design work as a lead application engineer I independently improved and developed new processes for data processing, test report creation, and key parameter analysis. These improvements improved communication with customers and increased the efficiency of our data analysis and report creation by more than 50% . This increased efficiency allowed us to handle a wave of new business with a minimal increase in man power.I was also instrumental in resolving several quality concerns with our customers. This saved ~$100,000 in revenue and significantly improved the trust our customers had in our design team.

Coordinate instruction and training for up to 50 volunteers by supervising 6 other instructors. Develop and execute daily three hour classroom instruction independently for 4-12 volunteers. Improve performance of volunteers through daily feedback and training.
