I am an instructional designer with a background in music education and performance, applied linguistics, English as a second/foreign language instruction, and fire protection design engineering. You could say that I have a somewhat eclectic professional work history. From these vastly diverse experiences, I have acquired a very unique set of interpersonal, analytical, creative, and technical skills. Having worked in various industries, and with people from all over the globe and from all walks of life, I am able to create customized learning content and experiences that are tight, engaging, and effective. The teacher in me has me create learning material that advocates for the learners first and foremost. The artistic side of me pushes for aesthetics and creating the right atmosphere for the topic at hand, and the engineer in me likes to break down and analyze content and information with subject matter experts with a fine-toothed comb before organizing and presenting it to an audience of learners. I consider myself highly versatile, adept, and committed to diversifying and adapting instruction to serve educational needs.
