I have an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Welding Technology/Welder from Bellingham Technical College, where I learned the fundamentals of welding and fabrication. For the past 2 years, I have been working as a Human Resources Generalist at Bellingham Marine, a leading company in the design, construction, and installation of floating dock systems and marinas. I am responsible for recruitment and selection, employee relations, compliance, onboarding and offboarding, benefits administration, and process improvement.In my current role, I have streamlined processes externally and internally, creating reports and portals for various stakeholders. I have also collaborated with Payroll, Accounts Receivable and Payable, and Engineering departments, assisting with investigation of employee claims, benefits administration, and meeting coordination. I have applied my problem-solving, interpersonal, and customer service skills to handle complex and sensitive issues, troubleshoot discrepancies, and ensure employee satisfaction. I am motivated by the opportunity to support and empower the diverse and talented team at Bellingham Marine, and to contribute to the company's vision of creating innovative and sustainable solutions for the marine industry.
