Emergency Department (ED): Level I Basic Emergency Services 36-bed unit designated for emergencies including including strokes, cardiac care, OB/GYN, orthopedic, pediatric and ear, eye, nose and throat conditions. Certified as a STEMI Receiving Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, and EDAP. This unit is a designated Base Station Hospital that receives approximately 7,000 paramedic calls/year and averages approximately 170 patients per day.Cardiac Interventional Telemetry Unit (CITU): 24-bed unit specializing in the care of critically ill adult pre- and post-cardiac surgical and interventional patients. Common diagnoses and conditions include: MI, CHF, chest pain, pre & post open heart surgery, cardiac angiographies, PTCA/STENT and cardiac arrhythmias. Special procedures include: Thrombolytic therapy, anticoagulation therapy, external & transvenous temporary pacemaker insertion, cardioversion, defibrillation, managing chest tubes, and central venous lines. Daily assignment of a 4:1 patient ratio and use of Cerner Clinical Information Systems.

CPR instructor teaching courses in American Heart Association disciplines of both Heartsaver First-Aid CPR/AED and BLS Instructor-Led training for the healthcare professional. Over 80 individual classes taught and 500+ students proctored.
