Review and approve water and wastewater design calculations, state and local permits and site utility plans throughout the entire construction process. Coordinate and conduct pre-construction meetings, perform on-site inspections during the installation of all water and sewer infrastructure, witness system testing and ensure all required state and county documents are approved and recorded. Oversee all data collection and analysis of the company’s computerized GIS mapping system. Collect data in the field and integrate that data to the company’s mapping system software. Serve as the laboratory director which involves management of all aspects of the laboratory including water sample collection, analysis and reporting in accordance with SCDHEC and the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) regulations. Obtained state certification for the analysis of residual chlorine, temperature, total coliform/E.coli bacteria, pH, conductivity and fluoride. Perform lead and copper and ASR well sample collection as needed. Investigate water-quality issues and complaints to ensure optimal water quality is maintained to all customers at all times. Responsible for the company's compliance with the USEPAs Lead and Copper Rule Revision (LCRR). Manage the programs and personnel responsible for the development of a detailed lead service line inventory. Scope of work involves in-depth research of historical water/sewer and County land records, as well as management of data collection methods for field verification of service lines. Manage programs that provide routine maintenance to major water and sewer infrastructure such as fire hydrants and valves.
