My goal in life is to work on fresh and intriguing projects everyday. I have a need to create and make physical objects. I get excited about the magic of making; when skilled hands, energy, planning and raw materials transform into something more than those original pieces. One of my greatest skills as a creative individual is my insatiable curiosity. I love talking and learning about new products, materials, and different making techniques. I quickly distill those conversations and put them into practice.A fellow designer once said, “Mr. Roche pushes himself to learn new skills all the time. Whether it's metalworking, welding, or C.A.D. he is able to throw himself into any situation and adapt and learn from it.” While at RIT I also developed a knowledge base in the field of Museum Studies. I have studied museum collecting, museum education, and exhibition design in a variety of subject areas.Feel free to contact me about woodworking, museums and exhibitions, design, or travel! I am energetic, wacky, and passionate about lots of things and I love hearing what other people have to share!
