I have over 25 years Financial Services experience from Lloyds Banking Group, Royal London, Standard Life and Aegon UK, working within IT driven projects and Customer Service improvement teams in commercial banking, pensions, life assurance and protection.Since joining Scottish Widows/Lloyds Banking Group in July 2015, I have worked on a large-scale regulatory Financial Crime prevention programme, spent a year on a Commercial Banking data warehousing project for Group Risk and am now leading a team of Business Analysts within the Insurance area of Group Transformation.As a Business Analyst with Royal London since October 2011, the projects I worked on range from small purely legislative projects and internal organisational changes, to hugely complex new systems to cover company propositional change.I have written detailed requirement documents and contributed to initial high-level design solutions for both waterfall and agile based projects, liaising with key stakeholde, system developers and test analysts. In addition to my general Business Analyst skills and abilities, I also excel in statistical analysis and data interpretation, using a wide range of data visualisation techniques to inform management on issues such as resource planning and identifying process improvements. I am also experienced in working through the full testing lifecycle of projects. From setting initial test scenarios and assessing risks, test execution and the accurate recording of test results, identifying and documenting defects, to writing the requirements for and then the testing of system bug and defect fixes.
