In 2015 the Dublin development office was transferred to Advanced Computer Software Group.Role was now 50% maintenance, 25% feature development and 25 % preparation for handover to a new offshore team. Advanced required the use of JIRA and GIT. I co-authored the in-office Git documentation that outlined how to use Git from basic principles through to advanced release engineering aspects. I rebuilt the in-house build system based on Jenkins to integrate with Git and it's advanced features using the Git workflow with branching and tagging.Participated in knowledge transfer to the Advanced offshore development team. I acted as a mentor to the team and reviewed all code prior to build and release, whilst committing a number of new features and bug fixes.

In 2010 Serco transferred ownership of the principle products to Patni Computer systems. Patni computer systems were merged with iGate in 2012. Developed important new features for Facility ePortal the company schools and university management information systems. Attendance recording, timetabling, behaviour management, back end caching and performance enhancements. Introduced unit testing, load testing and performance profiling tools to identify bottlenecks to performance.Participated in knowledge transfer and mentoring to offshore development team in India.As a development team, we always met or exceeded all SLA's and targets.Was a member of a team that was awarded a "Dream Team" award. This later developed into a full scale J2EE Web application environment utilising Java, JSP, XML, JavaScript and CSS.
