Specializing in downhole maintenance and artificial lift optimization, I actively seek out areas of improvement throughout the field and develop projects to decrease lifting cost while maximizing production.

I work in a dynamic team of engineers, well analysts, production coordinators and field personnel in order to improve well efficiency through sound downhole equipment design, artificial lift optimization and operation and capital expense allocation. I develop and implement projects designed to increase the efficiency of the Russian Creek field in Dunn County, North Dakota and am part of a team that has driven down failure rates, OPEX spending and total spend per barrel for Oxy's North Dakota assets.

Performed an analysis of two different completion types in Oxy's Javelina field in South Texas by comparing the methods side-by-side using petrophysical, geological and production data. Data was analyzed to determine productivity indices, similarities and differences within wells which may have skewed data one way or the other. Multiple presentations were given to various levels of management in formal settings and presented during a poster session at Oxy's headquarters in Houston, Texas.

Over two years with Olsson I gained valuable insight into the oil and gas industry from the perspective of an environmental consultant. During this time I was given projects such as developing SPCC (Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasures) plans and inspecting pipelines for stormwater and construction purposes. Through this I have been able to gain valuable insight into regulatory aspects of the oil and gas industry. In addition, I have worked with the water resources branch of the company and been involved in numerous projects ranging from waste water treatment plant design to surface water drainage analysis. I worked from multiple different offices and as such developed long-range networking skills which have helped me communicate and work with people remotely.
