Hello! My name is Derek Fox, and I am a graduate from Roger Williams University in Bristol Rhode Island with the bachelors degree in Public relations in a minor in marketing. I graduated Roger Williams in May 2024 and have aspirations for leadership positions in the tech industry down the path of my career.I’ve always been interested in tech, starting primarily through video games as a young child. This interest has stuck with me and my whole life, and realize that the tech industry was where I want to be when built my first PC, entirely without experience. The research I did prior to its construction showed me the opportunities that ally within the tech field and how the recent, rapid progression of AI is going to be a journey that I most definitely want to help be a part of. I am always looking for new challenges or learning experiences in in order to make myself a more stand out employee from all the rest, and I feel that my time at Roger Williams as well as my experience with tech my entire life have prepared me for the rules that I aspire to gain. I have aspirations to obtain PR specialist or marketing specialist positions for companies, such as Nvidia, AMD, Western Digital, Gigabyte, and many other competitors in the computer parts industry, as not only do I know what’s best from not only a PR standpoint, but from a tech consumer standpoint. I feel that with this heavy interest, on top of my exceptional interpersonal/writing/problem solving abilities make me an exceptional contribution to wherever I may end up.
