I am working with the ultra-cold neutron (UCN) collaboration at TRIUMF. My job is effectively all things precision magnetics: measurement, shielding, device characterization, as well as method development for electric dipole measurement

I studied the molecular dynamics of amorphous materials (polymer thin films and ionic liquids) near the free surface interface using a combination of molecular dynamics simulations and implanted-ion beta-detected NMR experiments. I also designed and commissioned an upgrade to the B-NMR spectrometer, and I designed and wrote our group's analysis software.

I developed lessons and training materials for teaching assistants (TAs) in an undergraduate first year physics laboratory. These lessons, as were the lessons the TAs were teaching to the students, were designed to be learner-centered, using evidence-based teaching methods. We also focused on presentation skills, as well as equity and inclusion training.

I assisted with course development, including lesson and rubric planning, and led instruction for an undergraduate first year physics laboratory.
