My father has operated a small computer repair business out of a home office for the past few years. My duties in this company entail:• Traveling to the customer’s location• Gather additional information about the issue• Bring the computer back to the office for further diagnosis and/or repair• Deliver the computer back to the customer and ensure there are no unresolved issues• Provide general consultation on PC upgrades

• Assisted students and staff log in to their accounts, reset passwords and unlock accounts when necessary• Worked troubleshooting and resolving computer issues and questions with faculty and staff members• Worked with full-time IT staff members on projects• Examples include:• Re-imaging computer labs (using Symantec Ghost Software)• Help create computer images• Set up personal & networked printers and other peripheral devices• Set up computer labs with hardware and software• Diagnose network connectivity issues• Troubleshoot PC/software issues• Run anti-virus and malware removal programs on infected terminals
