Derek is a director, producer, motion graphics artist, and co-owner of Originator Studios. He has been directing and producing television commercials, films and corporate projects for over a decade.Derek is passionate about documentary, graphics design, photography and virtual reality, and loves to experiment with the mixture of mediums in the pursuit of visual storytelling. He has been referred to often by his friends as "the funniest person he knows".Derek holds a BS in Radio-TV-Film from the University of Texas at Austin where he continues to visit on occasion to feel old.
