Responsible for the Operation and Maintenance of an unconventional gas production facility (coal bed methane) in central Scotland. This facility is the first “gas to wire” facility of its kind in Europe and includes Wellhead and Xmas tree equipment, Dewatering equipment, gas pipeline, pressure management valves, gas fired generator, switchgear, cold vent, enclosed flare and water treatment plant including chemical dosing.

• Working along with well test crew for clients such as Total, Shell and BP giving them vital reservoir data on oil and gas wells.• Gathering data such as down hole temperatures, pressures, barrels of oil per day, type of oil or gas and well potential. • Rigging up well test equipment, high and low pressure pipe work, controlling pressure and flow at surface, separating effluent oil, gas, water through separator and flaring off resulting fluids in an environmentally safe manner. • Working to extremely tight HSE standards and permit to work systems. Carrying out risk assessments before every job, tool box talks etc.
