As a director at Alameda County Office of Education (ACOE), I create and lead successful academic programs that prepare and empower educators for career technical education (CTE) and administrative services roles. I have over 26 years of experience as an educator, including 12 years at the county level and 14 years at the school site level, working with diverse students and teachers across various subjects and settings.In my current position, I manage the staffing, credential analysis, enrollment, and instruction of the CTE and Administrative Services credentialing programs, which I also designed and developed from scratch. I have obtained the initial institutional approval from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC) for both programs, and I have produced a new 150-page Harvest of the Month integrated nutrition curriculum for the California Department of Public Health (CDPH). I hold a Master's of Educational Leadership from Cal State University, East Bay, and multiple credentials and certifications in CTE, multiple subject teaching, and administrative services. I am passionate about aligning purpose, goals, and results, and developing systems, tools, and products to optimize time, resources, and learning.
